There are some medical restrictions you should know regarding obtaining your DOT medical certificate.
If you take injectable insulin for diabetes, there are restrictions to obtain a commercial drivers license
Must have 20/40 vision, though wearing glasses or contact lenses is permitted
No use of narcotics, amphetamines or other habit forming substances
You will be asked to provide your medical history. It is important to answer all questions truthfully as legal action could be pursued if information is found false.
